Type HD pump is a horizontal, radially split, single stage, top suction and discharge, centerline mounted process pump, designed for heavy duty applications, primarily in petroleum, petrochemical and gas processing industries. It complies with API 610 (ISO 13709), Type BB2.
Case thickness and mounting foot design can meet the two times of the nozzle load of API610. Centerline mounting is used to reduce misalignment and permit operation at elevated temperatures. Classic stiff shaft design. Double suction impeller for low Net Positive Suction Head Required (NPSHr). Cartridge mechanical seal is standard for easy disassembly and installation, sealing chamber meets API682 requirements.
